My family is from southern Germany where pretzels and bratwurst are B.I.G. I made my aunt’s Schwäbisch potato salad and a Gurken Salat to go with it. When I closed my eyes, I felt like I was back in Öschingen. It was that delicious and that authentic! Will definitely be ordering more.
I've had the 'real deal' in Nürnberg. Twice! One of my favorite foods ever, so I was excited to try them. Ordered four packages (along with other various brats). I browned them in butter. They were delicious! A little longer size-wise than I'd experienced previously, but so tasty. I'll charcoal grill the second package when I have it, and I may eat 'em all in one sitting.
