Description

Stiglmeier Liverwurst with Goose Liver is a delicately flavored German-style liver sausage made with goose liver, veal liver, veal and pork. Finely ground to an exceptionally smooth, creamy texture, this mild liverwurst spreads easily and can be enjoyed much like a fine pâté. The addition of goose liver gives this specialty sausage an especially rich and refined character without making the flavor overly strong.

Serve it the traditional German way on fresh rye bread, Bauernbrot or toasted whole-wheat bread, accompanied by pickles, cornichons, mustard or thinly sliced onions. It also makes an excellent addition to a German Brotzeit platter or an appetizer board with crackers, bread and pickled vegetables. The liverwurst is fully cooked and ready to eat. Keep refrigerated; Stiglmeier states that unopened packages remain fresh for up to four weeks under refrigeration and should be used or frozen within seven days after opening.

Ingredients: Pork jowls, pork snouts, goose liver, veal liver, veal, pork, onions, salt, spices, sugar, hydrolyzed soy protein, sodium erythorbate, dextrose, sodium nitrite. Contains soy. Gluten-free.
