This baking mix gives you a fool-proof and easy way to make authentic Austrian "Kaiserschmarrn" (lit. "emperor's hooey,"), a shredded sweet fluffy pancake dessert, consumed with sugar and fruit preserve. It is said, that Austrian Kaiser (emperor) Franz Josef I (1830 - 1916) was very fond of this dessert. Great with German Sour Cherries.

Product and delivery
This is my first time ordering from here, and was very pleased with the kaiserschmarn and the speed of the fullfillment of the order. This product is a speciality of the area where my wife is in Germany, and she has been making it for me for 63 years, but now at an advanced age, we are making our lives simpler, and thus the Kaiserschmarn in a box. It IS simple and delicious. I reccommend this to everyone!
