Description

This is Heimatsmühle's classic light wheat flour for baking and cooking and the broadest general-purpose flour in the conventional assortment. The company describes it as grippy, light/loose and aromatic, with consistently high baking performance.

Its fine consistency makes it particularly appropriate for delicate baked goods. Heimatsmühle recommends it for fine yeast doughs, cake batters, delicate sponge cakes, choux pastry, pasta dough and shortcrust pastry. It can also be used for cakes, tortes, cookies, crêpes and thickening sauces.

Character: Light, loose, aromatic and pleasantly grippy.
Key advantage: Consistently reliable baking performance.
Special feature: Very versatile because of its fine consistency; particularly strong in fine pastry applications.
Heimatsmühle tip: Mix it with Heimatsmühle Wheat Dunst to make a Spätzle flour blend.
