Pfanni (or Panni, as it is called in the US) is the leading brand of potato and bread dumplings in Germany. Originally from Munich, Bavaria.
These classic and convenient fried potatoes make an easy, quick, nourishing and heart meal. Add any meat, fish or vegetables, or eat solo just with ketchup or mayonnaise. This pack makes about 2-4 portions.
Open box and loosen potatoes in inside bag by careful kneading. Heat 1 teaspoon of vegetable oil in pan, distribute potato slices evenly and fry at medium heat for 4-5 minutes. Important: do not turn before they fry for about 5 minutes. Turn potatoes after 5 minutes and fry the other side for 4-5 minutes until golden brown.
Add tuna from a can, sliced onions, capers, nutmeg and salt to make a tuna/potato fry.
