Spreewaldhof “Mein Schätzchen” Cornichons, refined with fresh herbs, are a true treat for pickle lovers. With fine herbs, mustard seeds and spirit vinegar. Perfect with bread, as a side dish, or a crisp snack in between, their tangy-sweet flavor adds zest to sandwiches, salads, or roast fillings.
Spreewald Gherkins are a specialty food from the Brandenburg region of Spreewald, located about 60 miles Southeast of Berlin. These authentic cornichons are pickled right after the harvest. They have a distinctly crunchy bite and tart flavor. The Spreewaldgurke (gherkin) is protected by European regional indication law which means this gherkins cannot be produced anywhere else.
