"Braunschweiger" Liverwurst (originating from the Braunschweig in Lower Saxony) is a finely ground smoked liver pate, similar to a Teewurst. A delicious spread on toasted whole grain bread and Swedish crisp bread. Made by Schaller and Weber, an authentic old world German butcher shop based in New York City since 1937.
