Pfanni (or Panni, as it is called in the US) is the leading brand of potato and bread dumplings in Germany. Originally from Munich, Bavaria.
These bread dumplings are a delicious addition to any meat or vegetable dish, with sauce. Simply place bags into cold water, add a bit of salt, let rise in cold water for 10 minutes. Bring water with dumplings to a boil, reduce heat to a simmer and cook dumplings for another 10 minutes. Remove dumplings from water, rinse briefly under cold water and serve.
Also great as a salad topping on arugula salad with radish vinaigrette.
