Here's a sweet homage to the German flag: three premium jams with the colors Black, Red and Golden. The flavors are either black cherry, plum or black currant; strawberry or raspberry; and quince* or apricot.
For over 125 years, Maintal Konfitüren has produced top-quality jams, jellies and spreads made from berries and fruits locally grown in Northern Bavaria (Franconia). Maintal’s rosehip jam (in German “Hagebutten Marmelade”) is an especially delightful German treat and healthy as well, because rosehips are particularly rich in vitamin C. Maintal preserves are delicious, fruity complements to breads, cakes, donuts, as well as poultry and venison.
