This gingerbread tin contains 5 of the finest lebkuchen (gingerbread) rounds you can get. The "Emperor" lebkuchen has Elisen-quality (min 40% nuts) and contains no wheat flour, just gingerbread dough as the monks used to make them hundreds of years ago. The tin depicts some of the most famous German medieval emperors, like Emperor Frederick III who ruled Nürnberg in the late 15th century.

Made by Lebkuchen Schmidt, one of Nürnberg's most famous gingerbread producers, founded in 1928. This company also owns the venerable Wicklein brand, founded in 1620.
