Description
Bavarian cuisine is famous for including hot, pungent horseradish made from the local Bavarian meerrettich (English: horseradish) plant. This is a perennial root vegetable of the Brassicaceae family, which also includes mustard, wasabi, broccoli and cabbage. Hengstenberg horseradish is of particular good quality.
