Description
Aurora is one of Germany's best known flour brands. This bread making flour mix contains 50% wheat flour, 26% rye flour, 17% whole grain rye, rye whole grain sour dough, yeast, wheat bran, barley malt flour and more. A perfect solution to make your own moist whole grain bread ("Saftiges Vollkornbrot"), either in the oven or in the bread making machine.
Allergens: wheat
- Mix 350ml lukewarm water with 1 pack (500g flour mix) in a bowl with a hand mixer (dough hook) on highest level for about 3 minutes until you get a soft, homogeneous dough.
- Cover bowl with a cloth and let rise in a warm place or preheated oven (200°F) until the dough has risen substantially.
- Knead dough briefly and place into greased rectangular baking pan. Smooth surface. Cover and let rise for 40 min in a warm place.
- Brush water onto surface, cut surface lengthwise, and bake in preheated oven, mid-level, for about 50 min. at 420°F.

Great and easy bread mix and sooo delicious
I have always used those mixes when we have still been in Germany and I am so happy I found it here in the US. Baking is fool proof and it is always great to have an easy option for fresh bread without leaving the house.
