Enjoy this box of 4 hand-made large portions of "Apfel Beeren Strudel" (apple berry strudel), produced freshly with time-honord techniques using thinly stretched layers of dough, sliced apples, and spices.
The strudels are fully baked and flash-frozen. We ship these Strudel with ice pack and cold shield.
They will arrive unfrozen and you can eat them on the spot, re-freeze or heat in the oven and dust with confectionary sugar.
A true delight best served with German coffee, tea or cocoa.
The word "strudel" comes from the German word for "whirlpool" reflecting the swirled, layered appearance of the cake. Strudel baking involves finding a balance between its thin, hand-stretched dough and its filling. The dough's ingredients are flour, water, oil, vinegar, and salt. Stretching the dough thin enough to be translucent is considered challenging.
No preservatives and fit for vegan diet.
