This soap created with natural scents from alpine flowers and lavender was invented in 1928 by Walter Rau in Baden Wuerrtemberg. The use of the unique Alpine valerian, or Speick flower, gives this soap and unique, wonderful smell. Still produced by Specik Naturkosmetik in Leinenfelden near Stuttgart.
