A German Biskuit Kuchen is a light and airy sponge cake, often used as a base for layered cakes or tortes (not like the English style biscuit cake using cookie crumbles as a base).
This package contains 2 x 130g bags of base mix for a German Biskuit Kuchen. Just add 2 eggs and 2 tablespoons of water for the batter.
Perfect to Make a German Jelly Roll or a 2-layered "Erdbeertorte" (Strawberry Layer Cake).
Use cocoa in the mix or a darker version.
