In 1922, 29 year old German candy maker Hans Riegel introduced a revolutionary new product to candy fans in his native Bonn: the gummi bear. Besides the gummi bears, Haribo has also introduced well known sweet treats such as licorice snails (Lakritzschnecken) and marshmallow candies.

Pleasantly surprised
I'm pleasantly surprised that when these arrived they were still fresh and soft in the package. A lot of the times when you buy haribo even in the shops close by it's hard and stale. These are unique and not too sweet.
