The Taste of Germany at the Downtown Holiday Market in Washington DC

Are you living in the Washington DC metro area? Or will you be visiting the Nation's Capital anytime between November 21 and December 23? If your answer are yes to both, we would like to invite you to visit our "The Taste of Germany" booth at the Downtown DC Holiday Market on F  Street between 7th and 9th Streets, alongside the Portrait Gallery, and kitty-corner from the Verizon center.The Metro Station is Gallery Place/Chinatown.

If you are hungry or thirsty ... no problem. We offer the following menu:

  • Bratwurst, Beer Bratwurst, Original Wiener (oversize), Currywurst, made locally by a German master butcher based on authentic German recipes
  • Pretzel Bun and Sauerkraut: All sausage come in handmade, daily fresh artisanal pretzel buns and a spoonsful of authentic German sauerkraut. 
  • Curry Ketchup, Bavarian Sweet Mustard, Duesseldorf Hot Mustard and Hamburg Medium Hot Mustard
  • Bavarian-style Pretzels, 10 oz and 4 oz., made by a local German baker (who also makes the buns)
  • Austrian apple strudel, produced locally by a couple from Styria, Austria
  • German Stollen cake, handmade, artisanal
  • Glühwein Cider, non-alcoholic, made with our own proprietary mix of cider, spices and organic juices.
  • Non-alcoholic beer from Eichbaum, brewed iin Kaiserslautern
  • Eichbaum Radler soda, Almdudler Austrian Alpine Hreb Soda, Club Mate Berlin Soda
