Description
A true specialty from the city of Duesseldorf at the Rhine River. This hot to very hot mustard resembles Dijon mustard but has a distinctly German taste profile.

LOEWENSENF EXTRA HOT MUSTARD
NOT VERY HOT, HAS LOST ITS SPICE AND FLAVOR

Tasty
If you're German you know Loewensenf and how good it is. If not, let me tell you, It has a great balanced taste but with that extra kick to it. If you like it "scharf", go with the Extra! Great mustard. You won't regret it. Perfect for Bratwurst, deviled eggs, Sandwiches,... you name it.

Extra hot Loewensenf.
The extra hot Loewensenf is the best I ever tasted. When I lived in Germany our household was never without this product. I have all my friends here in America turned on to it. I definitely will order several jars of this product when I turn my order in, in a couple of days. The Plant where they make this mustard was right across the street from where I lived. Love all products shown here, especially the Domino Steine. Wished you would have the authentic Bauernbrot. I would order more often if you had it. I miss my German bread the most.

Love this mustard!
I am usually in Germany a couple of times per year, except for this year of course. Every time I am there I typically will carry home a dozen bottles of Lowensenf to tide me over until my next trip. It is the perfect compliment to any sausage, brat, etc., and I use it making salad dressings, marinades, various dishes where it often becomes a subtle addition imparting a bit of heat and a lot of flavor.
