For the 2025 edition "art tin" collection, Lebkuchen Schmidt selected one of the most famous Dutch Baroque painters: Jan Vermeer van Delft (1632-1675). His most famous painting, "Girl with a Pearl Earring," is depicted on the lid, while details of the artwork are displayed on the side for viewing and study.

Jan Vermeer is considered a master of light. He became particularly famous for his detailed depictions of domestic life. Vermeer was a master of light, color, and composition, lending his paintings an almost meditative calm. His best-known works also include "The Milkmaid" and "The Art of Painting." He was only moderately successful during his lifetime, fell into obscurity after his early death, and was not rediscovered until the 19th century. Today, he is considered one of the most important artists of the Dutch Golden Age.
