This organic German sunflower seed based mix is the ideal plant-based substitute for ground meat. Makes a very tasty, filling vegan "bolognese," "sloppy joe" or hamburgers.

The nutty, umami flavor und crumbly texture of this dried sunflower seed extract is a close enough alternative to beef. Even better, it contains all the good nutrients, such as protein, fiber, and minerals you find in sunflower seeds.

The mince is easy to prepare: simply soak the textured crumbles in 1/2 cup of vegetable broth or water, and then fry in a little olive oil until browned. Add tomato sauce or other types of sauces to make a Bolognese.
