This baking mix makes an original German quark cake with crumble topping (Quarkkuchen mit Streusel).

The package contains 420 g baking mix and 170 g crumble topping mix. You only need fresh ingredients, such as eggs, butter, milk and quark (or any substitute of your choice. Click the link to find out our recommendtions).

The flour combination in the base mix has been formulated in a way that you only need to bake the cake for 30 minutes, switch off the oven, and leave the cake in the oven for another 10 min to fully bake. This saves energy and costs. (The title "Back ich, zackig" is a tongue-in-cheek expression for quick baking).

Sufficient for a 26 cm springform pan.

2 medium eggs, 160 g softened butter

For the topping:
2 medium eggs, 75 g melted, cooled butter, 500 g low-fat quark, 200 ml milk (1.5% fat)
