This Original Berlin Curry Sauce (Curry Ketchup) is perhaps the most iconic product from Haus der Feinen Kost: it is built on a tomato base, enriched with curry spice, onion, and nuanced seasonings, yielding a sauce that is distinctly "tomatoey" and fruity in its mid-palate, then spicy and piquant toward the finish. This Curry sauce is intended as a modern take on the traditional Berlin street food currywurst sauce, giving it an artisanal twist with higher quality ingredients and care in its small-scale production. 

Haus der Feinen Kost is a small artisanal sauce and dressing company based in Berlin, run by entrepreneur Adam Mikusch, who also founded the Eat Berlin concept store. From its headquarters in Plauener Straße (in the Wedding/Plauener Ecke area), the company emphasizes hand-crafted production, minimal processing, and authentic Berliner-style recipes.

Mikusch’s vision was born out of a love for food and creativity: after working in design, he pivoted toward the idea that “there are simply no good ready-made dressings,” and so he set out to make condiments that reflect Berlin’s flavor character.  All of the sauces and dressings are made in small batches, using carefully selected ingredients without artificial additives, and are crafted to retain freshness and intensity.
