This baking mix makes deliciously moist coconut macaroons that are so popular during the holiday season in Germany.
The package contains the ready-to-use baking ingredients, you only need to add 80 ml water.
Makes approx. 24 pieces
Ingredients: Grated coconut (48.5%), sugar, dried egg white, table salt
It’s this easy:
Pour the baking mix into a bowl.
Add 80 ml of water.
Use a hand mixer (whisk attachment) or a whisk to mix into a smooth dough.
Using two teaspoons, place small mounds of dough—leaving space between them—onto a baking tray lined with baking paper, and bake. Allow the coconut macaroons to cool and store them in airtight containers.
Baking instructions:
Top/bottom heat: 180 °C (preheated)
Fan oven: 160 °C (preheated)
Shelf position: middle
Baking time: 15–20 minutes
