Here is a great opportunity to sample a truly authentic Bavarian-style sausage made in Germany and now available in the United States. Meica Weisswurst is a fully cooked, herb-infused sausage of the highest quality. They are made from prime pork meat, salt and spices and filled into natural pork casings for extra crunch.
The sausages are vacuum sealed into glass jars and carefully cooked in brine inside the jar. This is why the sausages don’t need refrigeration, but taste fresh, wholesome, meaty and authentically delicious.
Traditionally, Bavarians ate Weisswurst as a late morning snack or early lunch accompanied by a refreshing Hefeweizen. Today, you can eat Weisswurst in Munich and surroundings at any time of the day.
