This box contains 2 bags of authentic German "halb und halb" dumpling mix (made with 50% finely and 50% coarsely grated potato flakes). You can make more than 300 x 3 oz dumplings (in German "Knoedel") with the content of this box.
Mix 5 kg potatoes (1 bag) with 11 liters of water, stir, let rise for about 10 min, form dumplings with moist hands and cook them in low heat for about 20 minutes until they float on the top. These are truly authentic potato dumplings, made from German potatoes in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern.
Perfect for gravy dunkin', with sauerbraten, pig knuckle, or goose.
