Founded in 1884 by master baker Julius Trockels in Soest, Germany, Kuchenmeister is one of Germany's highest quality baked goods companies. Their stollen are some of the best tasting winter holiday treats you can find. The traditional Christstollen is made with the finest spices, sultanas (raisins) and flowe mix - a true treat for the family.
It is in the freezer and will be enjoyed AFTER we return. I have had Stollen in Berlin, 'fresh' from the bakery, home made and mine, so it should be interesting. Have had it 'loaded' with all of the various fruits on down to none. No complaints, so there will some expectations.
